Cape Town, South Africa—In January 2015, the Next Generation Social Sciences Program partnered with the University of the Western Cape's Center for Humanities Research to host fellows working on dissertation proposals. The workshop featured a series of lectures from leading researchers in South Africa, each proposing means of charting new avenues to identify important research problems.
