Fellows and workshop facilitators from the first four years of the program speak about the importance of mentoring within the Next Generation Social Sciences in Africa Fellowship. As a testament to the transformative power of mentoring, two of the workshop facilitators featured in this video are past SSRC fellows. This experience gave them exposure to counsel from peers and established faculty, and they now look to offer similar opportunities to the next generation.
